Pauline Redmond Coggs, Phyllis Curry, Alden Freeman, Clarice Harris, Norman Humphrey, Cassandra Kelley, Mable Raimey and Edwina Thomas. Mrs. Coggs a noted community activist and retired professor of Social Works at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, died on July17, 2005 and was the last remaining charter member. A prestigious award has been named in her honor and in 1999, the Pauline Redmond Coggs Foundation was formed. For its part, Epsilon Kappa Omega has blazed new trails of its own by
- Promoting the arts, reading, math and science, literacy and proficiency through award winning programs designed for
students beginning in pre-school and continuing through high school.
- Conducting workshops for parents and college preparatory testing workshops for high school students
- Encouraging economic development among youth by sponsoring an annual Youth Entrepreneurial Fair.

The Pauline Redmond Coggs Foundation, Incorporated, was established in 1999 by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Epsilon Kappa Omega Chapter, for charitable, educational and community services. It serves as a vehicle for accepting, raising, distributing and investing funds for scholarships and awards to students; to establish on-going educational programs and for charitable donations and community projects which assist mankind in general.
The Pauline Redmond Coggs Foundation, Incorporated, has its target areas; education, health, the black family, economic empowerment, arts and leadership development. The foundation is pleased to present its 2011 community contributions to the following organizations whose goals and missions exemplify the target areas of the Foundation: Pearls for Teen Girls, Incorporated Wisconsin Council on Economic Scott Christian Youth Fellowship & Recreational Center Healthcare for the Homeless Rosalie Manor Community & Family Services Parenting Network-Adolescent Parenting Program New Horizon Child Placing Agency, Incorporated Daystar Operation Dream Campaign Against Violence Wisconsin Chapter of League of Young Voters Education Fund
